Rebranding
name, colours, IDs, icons.

What you can change from the operator panel without a build, and what is compiled into the app: the name under the icon, bundle IDs, icons, colours, your domain and deep links.

01Without a new build

Operator panel → Identity: app name, tagline, support e-mail, website, terms and privacy links (Operator panel). Save and apply, or host the document for every install.

03Bundle IDs

Required Replace com.tideapp.app with your own reverse-domain ID, for example com.yourcompany.wallet. Change it before the first store upload.

  1. AndroidIn android/app/build.gradle.kts change applicationId and namespace. Move MainActivity.kt from android/app/src/main/kotlin/com/tideapp/app/ to the matching folder and change its package line.
  2. iOSXcode → Runner → Signing & Capabilities → Bundle Identifier. This edits PRODUCT_BUNDLE_IDENTIFIER in ios/Runner.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj.
  3. Update the identity testtest/product_identity_test.dart checks that the IDs are com.tideapp.app. Change the expected values in that test to yours, or it fails.

04Icons

The source image is assets/images/app_icon_1024.png. The package has no icon generator, so replace the platform icon sets with your own images, or add a generator such as flutter_launcher_icons yourself:

05Colours and theme

Every colour is in lib/ui/tide_colors.dart; the light and dark themes are built in lib/ui/tide_theme.dart. The brand accent is TideColors.accent (#FF6B4A), with accentPressed and accentInk next to it. Also change theme_color and background_color in web/manifest.json.

Contrast is tested

test/tide_theme_test.dart checks text contrast in both themes. If it fails after a colour change, the new colour is too weak for text on its background; darken or lighten it until the test passes.

06Your domain

Build with --dart-define=TIDE_HOST=<your-host>. Site, docs, terms, privacy, support e-mail and referral links follow (Configuration).
