Can I see or recover my users' seed phrases?
No. TIDE is self-custodial and keys never leave the device. If a user loses both the phone and the seed phrase, nobody can restore the wallet.
Do I need a server or Firebase?
No. TIDE has no backend. A shared config file on any static host is optional, and Firebase is only needed if you choose to add push yourself.
Do I have to rebuild the app to change the fee?
No. The fee, referrals, cashback, switches, names and links change in the operator panel or in your hosted document. Your domain (TIDE_HOST), bundle IDs and icons need a new build.
Where does the fee money go?
Jupiter pays it on-chain into your Solana wallet's token account for the token the user receives. TIDE never holds it (details).
Which fee should I choose?
That is a business decision. The maximum in code is 2 %. A fresh install starts with no fee, and you can change it at any time.
Does TIDE pay referrers automatically?
No. It records what each participant accrued in a local ledger and exports it as CSV. You decide how and when to pay.
Does it support Ethereum or other chains?
Solana only in 0.1.0. Base is scaffolded in configuration but has no quote source, so it does nothing.
Is there a desktop app?
No. The targets are iOS, Android and web.
Can I translate the app?
Not with a translation file: 0.1.0 has no localisation setup, and texts are in the Dart source.
Should I enable copy execution?
Only after taking legal advice for your markets. It is off by default and refused in six baseline regions (Compliance).
